Cloning Controversy Continues

PROVO, UT - Anti-cloning activists issued statements today claiming the LDS Church has been conducting illegal human cloning experiments and has secretly created thousands of clones in the past three years.

"It's all part of a plot to take over the world," claims Ima Looni, head of ContraClones, an anti-cloning lobbyist group, "They must be stopped before they go too far."

According to the group, the church has established a secret laboratory across from its temple in Provo, Utah, where it daily has been cranking out perfect clones by the thousands.

Mike Smith, Director of the LDS Church's Strange Claims Denial Department, vehemently denied the claim. "These claims are strange," he said.

Although denying the church is practicing cloning, Smith did confirm that the church does own a large facility adjacent to the Provo Temple, a facility code-named the "MTC."

An exclusive investigation conducted by the Mormon Zone has confirmed that the facility does indeed produce a daily stream of biological entities that look the same, talk the same, walk the same, dress the same, and act the same.
